Experiments in Chocolate Design!

So today I created a chocolate cassette tape -- a little nostalgic but totally cool. I've been experimenting with chocolate and so far this has come of it. I still need to tweak my process a bit more and get a cleaner look - but so far I'm getting very excited.

I am thinking of creating a almond back side and putting it up in the Tierra Dulce Shop. What do you think?

Unusual Stained Glass Projects: Thundercats, HO!

I found this stained glass at Comics Alliance blog, the stained glass was created by artist Timothy Miller from AutobotWonko's art shop. Among the cartoon and comic stained glass windows he also works with other mediums such as clay, wood, and stone. Very talented.

Chocolate Molds

So this new year I am trying a few new crafting ideas.  I began working with a few new materials - and I started on chocolate casting. One of my goals in the first 3 months is to be proficient in mold making.

So far, this is the first chocolate casting:

Tiny Guns and Grenades, yeah I know, I'm working on it. I know it is a little gangsta, but I am also working on something nice. Let me know what you think! I will be posting these on the Tierra Dulce Shop on Etsy soon.

I went out and had myself some amazing adventures with my best friend in the whole wide world this holiday.

Check this working instrument which has stained glass inlaid within the body of this guitar and not only that it has a light source that luminates from the inside out. AAAhhhh Yeeahh.
